About Abhipsha Sahu

I'm a third-year student at the University of Waterloo, studying Physics and Astronomy (Co-op) with a Minor in Computing. I have an avid interest in Astrophysics and enjoy learning about the world through the lens of Physics. I have been exploring a variety of fields of physics and have tremendously enjoyed working in all of them, from laser optics to radiation physics. Through a combination of courses taken as part of my degree, volunteer experience and independent learning, I have developed a variety of skills in technical and verbal communication and have picked up some programming skills in Python, C/C++ and Java. I enjoy learning and educational communication, an interest I've put to use as three years as a Science Content Creator. In my free time, I enjoy art and music. I have been painting for thirteen years and can play two instruments. I am passionate about nurturing my creative hobbies as a I continue to develop in my STEM career.
