As a Software Engineer II at Contentstack, I have a wealth of experience developing and maintaining a source plugin for static site generators, for GatsbyJS. My expertise in GraphQL nodes has allowed me to convert data from our CMS into queries for use within the GatsbyJS framework to create highly functional websites. With a deep understanding of authentication and encryption techniques, I have integrated OAuth2 and AES encryption to handle sessions and persist login states for marketplace apps. Additionally, I have created dashboard apps using React, React-query, Jotai, and webpack to improve user productivity and reduce navigation time. In my role, I have also taken on mentoring responsibilities, setting code review guidelines, and guiding junior and intern developers to ensure code quality meets our product deployment standards. One of my notable accomplishments has been the creation of a Zapier integration, which allows Contentstack APIs to act as triggers or actions for multiple third-party tools such as Asana, JIRA, Slack, and Google Sheets. This has streamlined communication with Contentstack and other Zapier Marketplace apps. I have also played a significant role in the migration of Contentstack's boilerplate marketing website from vanilla JavaScript to ReactJS, resulting in a 40% improvement in load time and a 92+ Lighthouse score in all aspects, including SEO, accessibility, and best practices. Additionally, I have implemented personalization and A/B testing using Optimizely to track user engagement and provide customized UI experiences.
