As a data science graduate student at George Washington University, I am passionate about data and how it can drive innovation and impact in various domains. I am currently working as a research assistant at the School of Business, where I am developing a Python-based NLP solution to analyze US company annual reports of over 28 years, enabling automated detection of changes and reducing manual review needs by 50%. I have also gained valuable experience as a research intern at Calcutta University and a data analyst intern at GlobalShala, where I applied BERT, CNN, and other advanced techniques to preprocess and analyze huge amounts of textual data from various sources, such as emails, websites, and text messages, and provide insights for fraud detection, phishing prevention, and strategic investment decisions. I have acquired skills in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Java, Pandas, and Numpy, and have published a paper on using EfficientNetV2 architecture.
