About Abi Abawi

As a highly experienced IT professional, I hold a Master of Computer Science degree from the University of Luebeck in Germany. With over a decade of professional experience, I have gained extensive expertise in business analysis, technical project management, ER-modeling, software development and testing. In my early career, I worked as a Technical Project Manager at Nokia where I was responsible for managing the complete life cycle of multiple games and Java applications that were developed in outsourcing and preinstalled in Nokia Series 40 handsets. Later, I joined Capgemini as a Technical Designer and Java Developer, where I played a vital role in designing and developing a management system for sea and air freight of a globally operating transportation and logistics company. My responsibilities included ER-modeling of the complete system, creating screen dialogs, and bug fixing. Subsequently, I worked as Integration Test Manager to create a land transport management system for an international logistics company. I was responsible for the test specification and execution of a component-based client-server system. Later, I served as the Internal Chief Business Analyst, Test Data Manager, and Deputy Manager of the Integration Test Team. Currently, I am working as an IT Demand Manager at medac GmbH, a globally operating pharmaceutical company, where I serve as a crucial link between the IT and business departments in a highly regulated environment. My primary responsibility is to identify and analyze the company's business needs and translate them into effective IT solutions. Additionally, I am involved in driving the project through the software selection process, ensuring that we select the right tools to meet the company's unique requirements.
