About Abi Blakeslee

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have a Ph.D. in Clinical and Somatic Psychology. I serve as faculty for the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute My current training sites are in Dana Point, CA, Minneapolis St. Paul, MN, Richmond, VA, and Gainesville, FL. I integrate Somatic Experiencing with clinical research, the psychobiological principals of attachment, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic bodywork in my practice and teaching. I have conducted original research on the role of implicit memory in trauma resolution with a committee that included Dr. Daniel Siegel. I am currently in private practice in Bozeman, Montana. I specialize in Somatic Experiencing. I have a balanced practice between clients and supervising SE students and graduates. I have a web based SE group consultation the first saturday of each month. I also teach somatic relational repair workshops and present at conferences, for webinars, and on radio shows regularly.
