About Abi Phillips

A company’s greatest problem or greatest strength? In my experience a well-managed and well-motivated workforce can be one of a company’s very greatest assets. HR Management is designed to enhance and develop this asset, and with my qualifications and high-level accomplishments I have the ability to help a corporate workforce fully realise its inherent potential. Dynamic, analytical and a reflective practitioner, I have extensive practise in creating, implementing and adapting HR policies and principles throughout a variety of spheres. As such, I know how important it is to approach resourcing issues holistically and support them in a way that really works for the company; as opposed to creating and applying an unworkable system designed just to tick a box somewhere. That said, it is still important to ensure all legal aspects of the job are met, and this is where my prior engagement in a law firm becomes most advantageous. Energetic and enthusiastic, I have over a decade’s practical experience as well as membership of multiple professional bodies to my professional name. Having used my skills in a variety of corporate sectors I also have a clear understanding of the importance of flexibility and what can and cannot be adapted in corporate HR. My notable experience in leadership and management within the field has not diminished my desire to make a difference in supporting and developing my colleagues and using HR to enhance overall corporate performance.
