About Abi Saffrey

I am an experienced and skilled editorial professional, as demonstrated by my Advanced Professional membership of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading (CIEP). I offer editorial project management services, as well as copyediting and proofreading. I was the author of the first edition of the CIEP's Editorial Project Management guide, and co-developed its Editorial Project Management online course. I also co-authored the third edition of its Your House Style Guide. For editorial projects, I work most efficiently and effectively on-screen, editing in Microsoft Word, proofreading PDFs and using clients' content management systems. Recent projects include teacher and learner online and print resources, social and welfare policy academic monographs and contributed volumes, and economic research reports. My main subject specialisms are economics, social policy, business and education; I'm confident working on many humanities and social science topics.
