Having gained over twenty years’ experience working for a leading fragrance house in Dubai as a sales director, and currently working for a leading fragrance house in UK. To further expand while working for CPL Aromas has a Sales Director I lived in Dubai ten years. During this time I developed and managed a team of six sales executives and five sales coordinators. My main responsibilities included: i. Developing overall sales strategies for the team. ii. Calculating and setting sales targets and key performance indicators for each team member. Supporting each team member with customer visits and guidance with sales techniques for the daily challenges they encounter. iv. Assessing the progress and development of each team member via internal company appraisals. My experience and market knowledge of the fragrance industry in the Middle East and Asia region is extensive. I am currently responsible for sales to a large number of clients and my expertise is in selling to manufactures, traders and managing agents in various counties. My product expertise range from high quality niche fine fragrances to home care products and my Master Degree in Chemistry assists me in technical side of this work. In the fragrance industry trust and relationships are important since people buy from people. Over the years I have managed to build a large network of contacts and good relations with many key persons in many companies. I am very sociable and enjoy interacting with people and most importantly enjoy my work. I am flexible and open to learning with an excellent working relations with my colleagues which I believe helps in developing a healthy, happy and motivated work environment.
