About Abigail Arnold

Since I was a young girl, I was always encouraged to pursue my creative side, whether it was drawing, painting, baking, collages, ceramics or even elaborate shadow boxes. In 2016 I decided to pursue an academic interest in graphic design, fulfilling a creative endeavor I would never have imagined possible as a career. I believe the saying “if you do something you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life” and it took me years to figure out that meant visual communication.Although initially it was difficult transitioning from putting my work from paper in mediums like pencil and paint to designing on mainly Adobe programs; however, these programs have become an integral part of my design process. and are monumental in executing high quality pieces. There is always so much more to learn and my creative style is always evolving. It’s exciting to be able to grow with the technology available to me.A lot of my work so far has been identity design packaging, book jackets, poster designs, and menus, which I can see myself continuing and being fulfilled by working in any of those areas. I really like the idea that my designs can potentially draw others in to recognize someone else’s work or business. I think my career will strongly live by the words “we rise by lifting others”.
