The application serves as a comprehensive solution that facilitates efficient task organization, tracking, and collaboration. Key Acheievements: Designed and implemented the RESTful API endpoints using Java and Spring Boot. Developed the frontend interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, leveraging React and Bootstrap. Integrated the backend with a MySQL database using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate ORM. Implemented user authentication and authorization for secure access to the application. Containerized the application using Docker and utilized Docker Compose for streamlined deployment and management. MathScannerSolver Description: Created an image recognition and math solving system; users could interact with the REACT front-end and upload a picture of math to solve. The system would then communicate with the MathPics API to convert the image into LaTeX math-representation, which was then solved using our custom ANTLR grammar & Java backend. Key Acheievements: Collaborated with multifunctional team to develop backend while team developed frontend. Developed and executed over 300 test cases, including unit tests for individual components, integration tests for different modules, and end-to-end tests. Created a custom LRU-based caching algorithm that increased the speed of solving by roughly 36%. Created a custom ANTLR grammar and rule set to turn LaTeX into an Abstract Syntax Tree for solving.
