An outdoor adventure-going improv wannabe, never seen without a cup of coffee, who studied anthropology in college, and who often gets lost in the world of a good novel (or an episode of Law and Order: SVU).how did I find my way into the financial industry? The dots don't connect logically, but it's at the intersection of reason and imagination where magic happens. Originally from Cincinnati, OH, but now residing in Chicago, I'm driven to translate a deeply anthropological understanding of culture into compelling & actionable modes of advocacy, leadership, and innovation. At present, that classifies me as an educator in the financial world, specifically in the public retirement plan sector. With a natural inclination for listening and learning, I seek opportunities to participate with others in their positionalities of becoming; that is, identifying where we are, imagining where we want to be, and figuring out how to bridge the two together. My role is to take the technicalities that often hinder that journey and make them accessible, understandable, and approachable for those with whom I interact.
