About Abigail Brown

I am a keen and passionate biologist specialising in African wildlife biology, conservation, and ecology. My previous role with African Impact gained me experience managing a research and conservation volunteer project and gave me the opportunity to educate and inspire others in the importance and wonders of nature. Additionally, during my time with the company, we acquired the rights to work and traverse an area of land that previously had little to no active conservation and research goals. As research and conservation coordinator I begun the process of putting these in place, developing a management plan, setting up research stakeholders, and beginning physical conservation and research activities. I have a professional history working in a wide range of roles in various industries giving me a broad skill set and unique perspective when problem solving. I have a desire to develop my skills in conservation science and to further my career in the field of wildlife research and conservation.
