About Abigail Chance

Planning and organization have been my passion as long as I can remember. At 16, I began working as a freelance event planner in my hometown. I learned that being an event or project manager requires me to be extremely prepared and to always plan for the unexpected. This experience helped me solidify my plans to become a project manager. I love helping other's dreams become a reality, and want to continue helping others in my career. I'm currently working as a project manager for a startup called Data Harvest. My role requires me to manage the development of the application, communicate with development teams, and create plans for the future of the business. I work part-time for my family's farming business, Hicks Brothers LLC, as well. My passions also include marketing and content creation, so I can practice and cultivate these skills in my position. On the side, I work with local businesses on website creation/management and marketing needs to help them expand and connect to new customers. To further my learning, I began taking classes at National Louis University in 2019 working towards a BS in Management with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Leadership. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2021 with a well-rounded understanding of business and management systems.
