About Abigail Floyd

I am a secondary mathematics educator with experience teaching grades 7–12, including Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus AB. I hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Secondary STEM Education from Florida State University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of North Georgia.I am passionate about improving teaching and learning through strong instructional materials, effective pedagogy, and technology integration. I have led multiple professional development sessions and workshops at my school, focusing on digital tools and best practices, and I serve as a mentor teacher supporting a new educator in planning, instruction, and classroom management. My strengths include presenting to groups, building relationships with educators, learning new technologies quickly, and supporting colleagues in improving instruction. I am eager for opportunities where I can make an impact beyond my own classroom—particularly in curriculum support, instructional coaching, or product specialist roles where I can help teachers implement high-quality STEM resources.
