About Abigail Howe

In 2013, I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Since 2009, I have worked with children, teens, and adults with varying abilities in schools, clinics, and homes. I specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for all humans and seek to help increase functional behaviors while decreasing maladaptive behaviors. I’m an advocate for neurodiversity and I have a holistic approach to helping others. I am specifically interested in utilizing Acceptance and Commitment training (ACT) to address covert behaviors (thoughts, feelings, sensations) which impact overt (observable) behaviors to help people live a more meaningful, values-driven life. I’m starting a PhD at University of Florida with a focus on School Psychology with the goal to become a licensed psychologist (LP). This degree and licensure will help further my clinical skills, assessments I can conduct, and most importantly, broaden the people I am able to help by utilizing my skills as a BCBA and a LP.
