About Abigail J.

Abigail Jones is a Security Specialist at the Naval Research Laboratory where she works on adhering to and improving security procedures throughout the lab via a customer service approach and maintaining a flexible and positive attitude. Abigail is a consistent and diligent individual that passionately pursues creative solutions. In May 2023 Abigail was awarded a Master of Science in Terrorism and Homeland Security Policy. Abigail's research in this program focuses on the impacts of financing on terrorist groups’ endurance. Other academic interest topics are resource allocation, national security, statistics, and intelligence analysis. Before that, Abigail received a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics from Franklin University Switzerland. Abigail's senior research topic was, ‘What are the Additional Considerations Needed Before the Implementation of Universal Basic Income?’. The opportunity to complete this degree in three years presented itself due to the circumstances of the pandemic and previously earned high school dual-enrollment credits. To balance her professional and academic accomplishments Abigail likes to spend her time traveling, trying new art projects, volunteering with cats, and watching documentaries.
