About Abigail Kay

Hello, I’m Abigail Kay! I grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and am now a student at the University of Iowa, where I’m earning my Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management. I’m on track to graduate in December 2026, and I’m excited about building a meaningful career in athletics.Sports have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, which naturally sparked my desire to work in the industry. My experience includes working as a camp counselor for the Crystal Lake Park District, where I helped create memorable experiences for kids, and handling membership services at the University of Iowa Field House, where I support members and maintain operations. I’m a people person who thrives in collaborative environments. Whether it’s brainstorming creative solutions or bringing ideas to life, I’m at my best when I’m part of a motivated and energetic team. Looking ahead, I hope to land a role in intercollegiate or professional athletics, creating impactful experiences for athletes and fans alike. Let’s connect if you’re open to chatting!
