About Abigail Marshall

I am looking to utilize my skills and passions to to assist in wildlife habitat management, ecological restoration, and environmental justice. As a Crew Lead Wildlife Technician for three seasons and a crew member for five seasons on the Beckwourth Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest (PNF), I have extensive experience planning and conducting surveys for a variety of species for an array of projects, organizing and assigning daily crew activities, ensuring crew safety, and communicating project progress to supervisors. At the PNF I also routinely served on interdisciplinary teams, analyzed wildlife resource impacts for various projects, recommend treatment units and wildlife habitat restoration plans, wrote National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents, and assisted with the maintenance of wildlife program activities. Additionally, I have broadened my experiences by completing a Masters in Natural Resources and Wildlife Management, and by working in the research, consultation, and non-profit fields to create a more holistic understanding of the wide-ranging and diverse realms that encompass wildlife habitat and land management.
