A bubbly, and enthusiastic leader with 10 years of experience in management and entrepreneurship, Abigail is skilled in community engagement, communications, public relations, sales, strategic planning, business development, and mentorship. She has a proven track record of strategic goal setting and implementation within both private corporations and non-profits. Within her time as a small business owner, Abigail worked with local families and businesses to facilitate renovation and new build projects, creating work opportunities for women and youth, leading to the creation of the first all-female construction/design team in the province. She worked with local school districts, community organizations and apprenticeship programs to build learning and employment opportunities for Indigenous and Immigrant workers, and folks with learning disabilities. She is an engaged community member who is passionate about female empowerment, equity and diversity, continued education, and leadership, with a true commitment to global citizenship.
