About Abigail Stack

I work in genomic technology innovation at Bayer Crop Science. My goal is to find solutions that are better (more accurate, reliable, automatable, etc.), faster, or cheaper for our industry-leading pipeline of plant genetic sequencing. I work on both the short-term and long-term strategies in this space. Nothing excites me more than cutting-edge tools, methods, and devices with a potential to revolutionize the plant breeding industry as we know it. Outside of my day job, I'm highly involved with the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) and am working on revitalizing the St. Louis chapter. Our mission is to provide women with opportunities for mentorship, networking, and professional development. My vision for my career path is to create a ripple of positive impact, both within my company via excellent technical work and within my local community via outreach. While I am only at the beginning of my career, I look forward to exciting new technology and research in the future.
