I am a Medical laboratory professional that is fortunate to work in one of the best private laboratories in Africa with the name SYNLAB formerly (PathCare laboratories). My vast experience in my workplace I believe will give me an edge as I have been given opportunity to work in other Units directly and indirectly related to my core functions that is primary and secondary duties respectively. My workplace actually encourages versatility which has also helped me to be confident in various Units and experience gained is now inherent in me. For instance, I have worked in Reception Unit as a front-facing officer where clients are attended to according to their needs either directly (physically present) or virtually (telephone calls) and I have also worked in Specimen reception and Login Unit where different specimens are collected, thoroughly checked and logged into the computing system in respect of clients’ requests and biodata. My experience in Phlebotomy Unit is one of those that I cherished most as I love to bleed clients because it comes natural for me and my dexterity in ensuring smooth job that is hitch-free. Phlebotomy protocol that I was exposed to and practiced during my under-graduate days and internship were traditional type using syringes of different volumes but this was later upgraded as I went through an advance training with the use of vacutainer technique. I have worked with several vacutainer tools like Safety lok 21G, Safety lok 23G, Vacutainer needles 22G and butterfly needles. My expertise in this line is in no wise a wish away but rather a captivating one. Based on the premises of my robust experience that I have shared with you; I am most certain that you will find it pleasing to give me an opportunity in your esteemed organization while leveraging on my qualities.
