Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the options and services required to meet patient’s health and discharge needs. Work with patient to get the healthcare and other community services they need and for the best value. Also responsible for patient/family education, advocacy and outcomes monitoring and management. Managing Hospital staffing. Overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established Hospital policies and procedures. Assigning and monitoring staff activities. Assist in recruiting and training new personnel. Act as liaison between nurses, physicians, patient, and the family. Assess and evaluate patients’ with acute condition such as stemi and non stemi alert. Provide and document nursing cares to patient with acute chest pain, congestive heart failure, COPD in an emergency situation e.g. I/V therapy, blood drawing, caring for patients on ventilators, tracheotomy and telemetry monitor. Follow up on Lab result and inform the emergency doctors as necessary. Take care of the core needs of the patient’s condition within a reasonable time.
