About Abiya Chelliah

I started my career as an editor and then moved into the teaching career, presently working as an Assistant Professor (Govt. Aid) at the Department of Botany, St. John's College, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli, a college with 140 years of Service. I have also cleared SLET (2016), IIT-GATE (2009)(93.68), IIT-GATE (2010), etc. I have a passion for teaching and also for authoring, reviewing, and editing books and Research Journals. I have edited more than 45 Volumes of Research Journals (indexed by Thomson Reuters) and reviewed and edited about 1500 research articles. I also have good knowledge of memory training, and I have trained thousands of students at the various campuses to keep stuff in their minds. I concentrate more on understanding the subject than keeping pieces of stuff without understanding their content. I had been to more than 160 educational institutions in Tamil Nadu and Kerala to conduct Teacher Orientation programmes, edited texts from about 30 countries, and primarily reviewed about 1200 research articles from various country authors. I have authored 30 CBSE Books with Pearson Publishers, one of the most notable and premier publishers in the world.
