I am a highly experienced end-to-end supply chain manager who has been exposed to various functional areas through my entire career span, giving me an appreciation of the complexity and technical-ness of each functional area. I am well versed in supply chain, stores, and logistics (end-to-end). After a restructuring at Guardiar SA, I was offered a temporary assignment at the University of the Western Cape, one of South African's top Universities, where I assist senior lecturers with the review of journal articles. My function includes reviewing the latest journals and aligning them with current studies in the field of Education and Economics and Management Science (EMS). My career spans more than 30 years starting out as a driver and handyman to successfully reviewing, running and implementing processes and procedures as well as mitigating risks within the supply chains of notable corporate and local companies with an ethical and moral focus. I am well balanced, focused on family, energetic, customer centric, and self-motivated. I am a disabled EE candidate (blind in my left eye), I have not let this stop me from achieving the desired results I have set out for myself. With a Bachelor of Commerce Honours - top student in Economics and Research with an 81% average, Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Management (Finance) and advanced Syspro skills (ODBC extractions), advanced Excel knowledge, Lean, APICS & SAPICS.
