RESPONSIBILITIES-Design, Develop a clean and elegant code base with high attention to detail that includes edge case error handling and a robust level of completeness -Identify, recommend, and integrate common open-source plugin libraries that can be used to meet requirements when it’s easier/faster/more-robust than reinventing the wheel -Creates and/ or modifies programs to adapt to changes in needs and requirements-Analyze and document how the business requirements fit into existing system -Work with our other engineering teams to deliver new products and ensure success for our customers both internal and external-Come up with appropriate solution architectures for real-world client problems and gain buy-in from tech leads/architects -Work with business analysts and application users to define and design robust user centric application solutions -Reviews test results with users, completes final program documentation, and obtains approval for changes -Assist in and sometimes lead on-the-job training of less experienced programmers -Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job -Follow the established software development life cycle CORE SKILLS-Proficient in Python, Django, MVC, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery -Experienced with front-end frameworks (AngularJS, React, and Restful Web Services (WCF, Web API))-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail -Ability to accept feedback and constructive critique positively -Ability to motivate and inspire individual contributors -Experience with applying design and architectural patterns AREA OF EXPERTISE-Object-oriented programming -Expertise in modern web development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and libraries/frameworks such as -JQuery, REACT and/or AngularJS, and MeteorJS-Python, Django, MVC, Flask, AJAX, MySQL, MongoDB, & Postgres,
