About Abreham Muleta

I am a dedicated humanitarian and a passionate person working towards women and girls empowerment promoting equality, social justice, and human rights with more than 8 years of work experience from community level to program management on GBV and GBViE, gender and community services in Ethiopia in Afar,Amhara, Gambella and Addis Ababa regions in IDP, refugee and development contexts. In my Carrier I have specialized in designing programs, proposal development, fund raising and responding to conflict affected emergencies on GBV prevention,risk mitigation and response interventions with focusing on establishing survivor-centred services, and ensuring safe access to quality services based on GBV guiding principles, designing response strategies in acute emergency setting working partners in integrating GBV programs across sectors, establishing GBV programs in different settings, capacity building trainings on GBV prevention and response interventions such as PSEA, protection mainstreaming, GBV case management, GBViE and psychosocial first aid among many. I have well bult skills and knowledge on advocacy, document preparation, proposal development, establishing humanitarian programming, resource mobilization, fund raising, budget planning, Monitoring and evaluation, staff mentoring and communication, GBVIMS and data sharing protocols, preparation of SOP. I have Bachelor of Art/BA in Sociology and Social Anthropology and certified of capacity building trainings.
