About Abril Orme

I am a Junior student enrolled at Utah Valley University. I transferred from Brigham Young University-Idaho with an associate of science degree in general studies, and I am seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. My passion for sports along with anything that keeps one active is what led me to this major. I have had many experiences where I learned and acquired skills such as responsibility, leadership, patience, compassion, the ability to adapt to change, and quick learning. To combine my interests and hobbies into a career for my future, I have plans to pursue a career where I can remain healthy and active while helping others do the same. Aside from the interests and skills mentioned above, I also speak both Spanish and Portuguese fluently. Throughout my life, I had numerous opportunities to translate for and teach others in conversational settings, and I aspire to use these languages in future careers. To prepare my life to be filled with career opportunities, I am in search for internships and jobs that will expand my knowledge, enhance my abilities, and offer me experience for patient care.
