I am a passionate advocate and dedicated community organizer with a robust background in policy analysis, grassroots campaigns, and advocacy work. My journey in creating meaningful change began at 15, where I organized climate strikes and summits to engage my fellow youth advocates, eventually leading me to being invited to the 2019 United Nations Economic and Social Council Youth Forum. My professional experience includes roles as a Client Relations Coordinator at Food & Friends, where I led referral partner trainings to over 100 registered participants, ensured timely meal deliveries for clients, and addressed quality control issues to enhance service delivery. Volunteering is at the heart of my work. As the Co-Chair of the Muslim Sisters Alliance, I spearheaded a successful social media rebranding project, improving information accessibility and consistency across platforms. Furthermore, I seek to advocate for my community by contributing to the McKayla Wilkes' grassroots campaign. There, I engaged the general public through phone banking and creating a comprehensive voting resource guide. In my free time I write poetry and participate in spoken word competitions in which I have performed in front of over attendees. My commitment to intersectionality and community-driven change is at the core of everything that I do and I seek to highlight the voices of marginalized communities.
