Guiding (planning, scheduling, assessing, communication, and escalation) the entire project with editorial bent of mind from receipt of manuscript to final printer files. We do background checks of the authors whether they are first-time authors or experienced ones and determine the way to communicate with the authors and guide them through the various stages in production. We do a pre-delivery typescript assessment, scheduling for copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, artwork creation, indexing, and communication with authors, managing permissions and creating jackets processes. We also work with the client’s freelance copy editors/indexers. Preparing reports and to maintain a database of all the reviews on the project and organize a regular monthly conference call with the Editorial Manager at the publisher’s end. Quality check at all stages to ensure to meet all the quality parameters set by the publisher.
