I am fully qualified health, safety and environment professional with 15 years of professional experience in Qatar. I have worked with some of the major project management and consultancy firms in Qatar including KEO, Hyder consulting (ME)(Arcadis), Qatar Design Consortium as well as major main contractors, CFE (QDVC). My role is to educate and provide guidance to the contractor safety manger/engineer and team to develop the project safety manual in accordance with prevailing laws in Qatar. I have a record of success in the management of multiple contractors engaged in technical construction operation and the development of strategies to influence behavior and culture of project employees and contractor. My experience in hazard control through the development and application of risk management plans, method statements, incident management and investigation, application of root cause analysis protocols have enabled Mr. Aby to influence real change in our HSE culture and attitude.
