Background
About Acer Lewis
I teach English Language Acquisition in an IB school in the Republic of Georgia. In my free time, I also research and write about the history of Habsburg environmental policy in the eighteenth century. I'm a specialist in international education and communication, with many years of experience living and working all over the world. I'm extremely driven to follow my passions and curiousities, whether that be taking night classes to learn how to teach English, moving to China, teaching myself Turkish in Istanbul cafés, or writing a Masters thesis on a forgotten eighteenth-century print collection. Recently I've focused on gaining skills and training which can open career doors, and in the past year I completed an an advanced certificate in Chemistry for Art Conservation, a coding boot-camp, and several late-stage drafts of academic articles for eventual publication.
