Ada Cuevas is an IT Manager at Essendant, a Fortune 500 wholesale distributor of workplace essentials that offers sophisticated logistical capabilities and value-added services. Ada is a forward-thinking professional with a proven record of collaborating and delivering services to the business. Ada joined Essendant (formerly United Stationers) in 1995 as Production Support Coordinator. In this position, she was responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and offering 24 hour support for a 10k foot data center which provided company wide computing and data. Her role was expanded in 2005 to IT Lead of the production team. Here she developed her leadership qualities while focusing on associate coordination, service level agreements, and customer satisfaction. In 2007, Ada was promoted to IT manager where she further developed her management skills by focusing on forward thinking strategies, process collaboration across diverse teams, and successful budgeting for her departments. Currently, her responsibilities include team leadership, operations strategy, project management, organizational change management, and Infrastructure Key Sarbanes Oxley financial systems controls. While working at Essendant, Ada completed her Bachelors of Arts (2016) with a focus on e-commerce at DePaul University. Ada has a passion for authentic leadership, learning, adding value, and navigating to success with others through honest and ethical relationships.
