About Ada Siu

Ada joins FWD and will be responsible for the accounting policies of the Group. Prior to joining FWD, Ada was a Director of the Capital Market Accounting Advisory Services team of PwC, based in Hong Kong. In the role she assisted clients of various industries in dealing with complex accounting and treasury matters, including structured financing, mergers and acquisitions, hedging strategies, new accounting standards implementation. Ada was also a member of PwC’s Global Financial Instruments Topic Team. This global team is responsible for finding solutions to accounting issues in respect of financial instruments, hedge accounting, fair value measurements, leasing, consolidation of SPE’s, and related areas. In her 18+ years of professional experience, Ada has provided IFRS and HKFRS accounting advice for transactions, IPOs, private placement to clients across various industries including financial services, telecommunications, technology, transportation & logistics, utilities, manufacturing, consumer and industrial products. Ada is fluent in English and speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. Ada received her Bachelor of Business Administration with Degree in Accountancy from Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
