About Adam Arntson

I’m passionate about technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning. Recently, I earned my CompTIA A+ certification, and I’m curious to see if a professional journey in IT support and systems administration is the direction I should be headed. While I’m new to the IT industry formally, I’ve built years of hands-on experience through both personal projects and supporting local businesses. In high school, I was part of the computer networking team, and since then I’ve helped small offices with their IT needs—from running over feet of Ethernet cabling and completing punchdowns at patch panels, to troubleshooting systems and keeping operations running smoothly. For fun, I run a Windows Server 2022 environment with multiple virtual machines, experimenting with Active Directory, group policies, and network management. Alongside this, I’ve earned five certificates in Python programming and built projects in C++. While programming isn’t the career path I plan to pursue, it has been an excellent way to strengthen my problem-solving skills, deepen my technical understanding, and fuel my curiosity about how systems work. I’m eager to bring this same curiosity, problem-solving drive, and hands-on knowledge to an IT team where I can grow, contribute, and keep learning every day.
