Background

About Adam Atanas

My mission is to drive the future of AI by incorporating insights from neuroscience to build the next generation of foundation models. My groundbreaking work during my PhD at MIT combined machine vision, Bayesian inference, and computational biology to lead to the first-ever comprehensive behavioral information atlas for C. elegans cell types across the brain.I enjoy working on complex problems and understanding the full workflow from the raw input to fully-processed output. I learn new fields of study very quickly, and my multidisciplinary background allows me to apply my core skills in AI to new problems even more effectively. I am very focused and can be somewhat intense when deep in thought about a problem, but I know how to relax with a good board game or two.Let's redefine what's possible in the realm of artificial intelligence together.
