I started investing in 2008, smack in the middle of the great recession. In hindsight, I learned two invaluable lessons the hard way: 1) emotions have no place in money decisions and 2) educated, unbiased guidance and research outshines a quick internet search. Perhaps that experience motivated me to study finance in university, or perhaps it was just my natural interest in investing, analyzing and finding solutions. Today, as a seasoned financial advisor, I'll help you stay informed with reliable, unbiased guidance so you feel in control of your finances and secure in your future, no matter what life throws your way. In our Port Hope branch, our work together begins with a true understanding of what is important to you. Then, I'll use an established process to build strategies tailored specifically for your life, goals and challenges. She's detail-oriented, highly organized and a delight to be around. We both genuinely care about our clients and their families. For us, the mantra of acting in your best interest is not lip service; it's a lifestyle. Outside of the office, my wife, Melissa, and I have one son, Noah. I was born and raised in Whitby, and we happily made Bowmanville our home in 2016. We are a family that enjoys being in the sun, tending to the lawn and garden, cooking with our garden bounty, golfing, playing hockey and engaging in some fun competition.
