As an experienced Research Scientist working in a fast-paced leading pharmaceutical development company, my ability to produce consistent, high quality work has led to me taking on key responsibilities that are integral for ensuring the smooth running of daily laboratory duties. I play a critical role in study progression, utilising client specific data to create Protocols and Draft Reports. I am responsible for quality checking data, ensuring it is completed to a high standard to facilitate report finalisation and increase client satisfaction. I have developed strong practical experience of human/animal tissue anatomy, and I am relied on to evaluate a wide array of immunohistochemical (IHC) staining. Due to the high turnover and variability of work, I am skilled at thinking critically and adapting to the current needs of the business. Maximising efficiency is a key personal priority and I have played an important role in harmonising several inter-site Standard Operating Procedures, demonstrating my knowledge of GCP/GLP requirements and increasing productivity for on study tasks. I look forward to progressing further into a more senior, client facing role that will challenge me and allow me to build upon my skills and knowledge.
