About Adam Bernard

I am currently working at Ferrara Fire Apparatus under the title of Engineer II, after receiving my Bachelor's of Science in mechanical engineering in 2020. I currently develop plumbing systems used in a variety of custom fire trucks developed at Ferrara's manufacturing facility in Holden, LA. In my time as both a former engineer and intern at Frank's International, I have assisted engineers on several projects ranging from casing elevators, electronically operated tongs, composite cement retainers, and the consoles which operate them. Likewise, I am experienced in SolidWorks, have a mathematics minor, and have won awards for my leadership skills throughout the years. In my personal time, I further my knowledge of my trade with the hobbies of 3D printing and Arduino programming; such hobbies have allowed me to become part of the R2 Builder's club, where I am fulfilling the lifetime dream of building and automating an R2 unit from the Star Wars saga. Volunteer work is a constant in my life as well, as I serve my Church community as a guitar player every Sunday.
