About Adam Borik
After graduating from the doctoral program of the Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Biochemistry of the University of South Bohemia, I subsequently continued as a postdoctoral fellow. During this time, I gained eight years of experience in the analytical laboratory. The main task was developing, validating, and applying (mainly) multi-residue LC-MS methods for researching the occurrence and influence of pharmaceuticals and pesticides in various components of the environment. Another part of my work is quantitative and non-targeted screenings data processing, which includes the identification of unknown substances or transformation and degradation products of pharmaceuticals.
