I work at Minara as a Refinery E/I supervisor with 15 years of mining, process plant and power station. I completed a diploma in business management. With my time functioning as a supervisor and acting superintendent providing experience to aid in my completion of a post graduate certificate in business administration which I have started with RMIT University. An extensive electrical and instrumentation knowledge along with a well-covered amount of mechanical and operational experience from working with a wide variety of departments and equipment. I have knowledge and ability to deal with legal requirements and standards as a holder of electrical, radiation, gas and hazardous areas licenses. As well as keen enthusiasm for management of personnel and maintain good relations to ensure that the business is always looked on favourably by employees and external individuals/organisations. Assets I have been responsible for maintaining, repairing and managing electrical requires for at Minara Resources Include 2 x 28MW ABB ATP2 Steam Turbines 24MW ABB GT10 Gas turbine (worked on for 2 years and was replaced by the GE GT) 30MW GE LM2500+G4 Gas turbine, including the installation and commissioning Hydrogen Sulphide Plant, 2 trains at 2606 KG/H per train 4400 tonne per day Monsanto designed Sulphuric acid plant A highly complex Nickle and Cobalt refinery from ore preparation to packaging, Including high value assets such as High Pressure Acid Leaching autoclaves, Counter Current Decantation, Nickle/cobalt prep, Iron removal, nickel hydrogen reduction, cobalt reduction, ammonium sulphate production, nickel and cobalt hydrogen purged sintering furnaces. Managing up to 40 full time direct reports and contracting crews up to an additional 20 people.
