About Adam Boyd

As the Director of Research at InformedAg, I lead my team in the development of innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture. My research currently focuses on the performance of herbicides, fungicides, and nematacides on turfgrass and row crops in the southeastern US. With a Ph.D. in Crop, Soil and Environmental Science and over eleven years of research experience, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the agricultural sector. I have contributed to multiple publications and projects on topics such as soil health, plant identification, weed control/suppression, and nutrient management. My core competencies include designing and conducting experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, collaborating with stakeholders, and communicating results. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to help golf course superintendents and farmers improve their productivity, profitability, and environmental impact, while focusing on environmental stewardship. I am also motivated by InformedAg's mission to use data and technology to empower the agricultural community and address global food security issues. I value teamwork, innovation, and diversity, and I strive to bring these qualities to my work and my team.
