About Adam Brulhardt

Hi, my name is Adam. I want to share my passion for mathematics with students and show them the value in learning mathematics. Through investigations and relevant tasks, mathematics can be one of the most creative disciplines we can work in. The beauty lies in the logic and reasoning, the skills and strategies we use to solve problems, and the kind of discourse we use in a mathematical discussion. This kind of discourse and way of thinking is what I wish to teach to my students more than content, because if I can accomplish this, then I have taught them how to think about mathematics and they now have this tool for the rest of their lives in order to solve the world' problems. Furthermore, I would like to share the joy of mathematics and best practices for how to teach it to the future mathematics teachers of the country through providing meaningful professional learning experiences for prospective and practicing teachers.
