Background

About Adam Buechler

I build the data infrastructure and AI systems that help Hawaii's mid-market companies make better decisions — the kind of financial intelligence that used to require a mainland consulting firm or a six-figure SaaS contract. At Alpha Inc. I built the company's data platform from scratch — a Microsoft Fabric lakehouse integrating project management, payroll, and accounting data across multi-island construction operations. Power BI dashboards the team actually uses every day. An AI-powered forecast submission system that replaced spreadsheet-and-email chains with something project managers don't hate.Through Buechler Pacific, I work with companies that have outgrown spreadsheets but aren't ready for enterprise software. The pattern is always the same: siloed systems, manual processes, decisions made on gut instead of data. I build the bridge — and I build it so the team can own it without me.I'm also an assistant surf coach at Baldwin High School, a mentor in the Chamber's High School Mentor Program, and Neighbor Island Vice Chair on the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Young Professionals Steering Committee — the first neighbor island representation in its history. I helped organize the inaugural YP Maui event at Maui Brewing Company in March 2026.On the side, I built SwellScore (swellscore.app) — a hyperlocal surf forecasting app that scores 18 Maui breaks using real government ocean data. 10+ years of surfing here means I know what the buoy numbers actually mean for each break.Economics from UC Santa Barbara. Executive MBA from the Valar Institute. Based in Makawao, Maui.
