About Adam Burroughs

I am a person who is passionate about technology, games, nerd culture, and figuring things out. Due to taking an ADHD career path, I have been able to learn a little about a lot of things. As my life has unfolded, I've had the fortune of being able to exclusively do the things that I find interesting and energize me. The point in my journey that I am at now is as a partner with one of my best friends in an IT firm that operates across two states. In my day-to-day at Koala Networks, I am responsible for developing and actualizing our company's business plan. This includes client appreciation, IT project management, marketing, our website & SEO, sales funnel management, vendor communications, and ensuring overall employee happiness. Notice there is only a mention of IT once and it is in a planning and faciliatory capacity. That's because my partner, Matt Knight, guides our team to success in the actual delivery and implementation of all IT. Matt is a veteran of the US Army, where he served as an intelligence analyst. He studied IT in college with a concentration in informatics and eventually transitioned into civilian life as an IT technician starting in Seattle. That was nearly a decade ago. As it stands today, we operate as a boutique-sized managed IT services company, but we have ambitious plans with an attainable and realistic 2-year roadmap towards investing in our communities through service-focused enterprises.
