About Adam Cadot

As a Senior Full-Stack Drupal Developer at Digital Convergence, I recently celebrated my first work anniversary. During my time there, I have been responsible for supporting Drupal modernization, maintenance, and redesign projects, as well as installing, configuring, and administering Drupal. Additionally, I have contributed to UI/UX decisions and design while adhering to industry best practices, researching new technologies, and collaborating with other teams. Before joining Digital Convergence, I worked remotely as a support agent for Digital Echidna, a large Drupal agency. In this role, I provided support to over 100 websites, including hospitals, universities, and government websites. I also founded my own web agency, Creative Media, which specializes in Drupal websites. Some of my clients include Dumont Security in St. Catharines and Sports Leisure Vacations in California. As a Full-Stack Drupal Developer, I possess a keen understanding of responsive web design, Bootstrap, and search engine optimization (SEO). Additionally, my expertise extends to the Adobe Creative Suite, digital photography, and video production. One of my proudest moments was winning the Excellence in Education Award, which is awarded to only one student per school who has achieved the most in their academic career. I pursued my passion for web design while on a high school robotics team, where I led the website, social media, marketing, and promotions departments. Under my leadership, our team's website won eight Ontario website awards and an international website competition award. I also developed a native multilingual iOS app for the team that was downloaded over 4500 times in over 90 countries. This culminated in our team being awarded the most prestigious award given at the competition, the Chairman's Award. I produced the video showcasing our team while teams from 12 countries watched. Due to my success on the robotics team, I was featured in a cover article for Niagara This Week, which has a readership of approximately 165k. This led to the development of an iOS app called Sport On The Go, while working for Future Access Inc and Brock University. The app allowed users to follow sporting events and receive updates. During this time, I completed the Stanford iTunes U iOS development course. Although I studied Software Engineering at McMaster, I decided to begin working in the field immediately. I started my career as a Drupal website consultant for the City of Hamilton.
