Appointed by the President to serve as the Deputy Director of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) in the Executive Office of the President. A senior government executive managing a cross-cutting budget of over $40 billion across 18 federal departments and agencies - lead the mission of ONDCP to reduce substance use disorder and its consequences by coordinating the nation’s drug control policy through the development and oversight of the National Drug Control Strategy. As a leader in synchronizing and coordinating public health and public safety solutions, reduced overdose deaths by over 14% in three years. Most recently, Adam served as the Director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces, a component of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he led the largest law enforcement task force in the nation, synchronizing investigative efforts in over task forces and 19 Strike Forces and managing a budget of over $620 Million. As a member of the Senior Executive Service, Adam is a proven innovative leader and brings decades of coordination and management experience to every challenge that he faces.
