About Adam Cole

With more than 15 years of experience in pathology, I am currently the Chief Quality Officer for the Department of Pathology and the Laboratory Site Medical Director for the Weiler and Hutchinson Campuses at Montefiore Medical Center, one of the largest and most comprehensive health systems in New York. In these roles, I oversee the quality assurance, performance improvement, accreditation, and regulatory compliance of the clinical laboratory services across multiple campuses, as well as the daily operations, staff development, and clinical performance of the Weiler and Hutchinson campuses. I am involved with medical education, serving as the Associate Director for Clinical Pathology Education at MMC Pathology, and have developed and delivered medical education programs and courses for residents medical students. I have also participated in various leadership committees and initiatives to improve patient care and safety. I am passionate about advancing the standards and practices of pathology and laboratory medicine, and I am committed to providing high-quality, accurate, and timely diagnostic and consultative services to the patients and clinicians of Montefiore. I value collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and I seek to contribute to the mission and vision of Montefiore as a leader and a team player.
