I am a RN Case Manager with Gentiva Hospice overseeing hospice care for my assigned patients. I have been a Registered Nurse for 10 years. I began my career as a post-surgical/orthopedic nurse before transitioning into the acute post-anesthesia care area and then nursing education. I hold national certification as a Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN), as well as the Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification. I served on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Association of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (NCAPAN) for 6 years. I was awarded the NCAPAN PeriAnesthesia Nurse of the Year in 2016. I am a National League for Nursing (NLN) Sim Leader Alum (2022).
