About Adam Cook

Much of my early life was dedicated to computers. Doubling down on cyber security is the best fit for my passion and talent. Cyber space is a dangerous environment, and it requires us to demonstrate constant vigilance and adaptability to prevent and reactively mitigate attacks. My current goal is to develop my skills as an incident responder and pursue additional certifications in digital forensics and explore emerging technologies integrating AI analytics into cyber defense techniques. I have most recently acquired the ISC2 CISSP and before that, the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH). I was formerly a laboratory technician with a M.S. in Biological Science at the University of Kentucky and worked for the Department of Biology for five years on various projects to discover the mechanisms underlying salamander regeneration in order to improve our understanding of wound healing.
