About Adam Dwight

I have worked for 30 years as a lecturer at an Inner City Further Education College and I am extremely proud about the contribution that I have made to ensure that young people (often with poor previous experiences of formal education at School) have achieved their qualifications which has allowed them to achieve their aspirations. I have been an Advanced Practitioner at the College for the last 18 years, mentoring, coaching, training and supporting lecturers to ensure that they can effectively fulfill their roles and deliver first class teaching and learning. In October 2013, I was appointed as a role as a Teaching and Learning Coach for embedding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion into curriculum areas and this is a real interest of mine as in February 2014, I began a PHD which is focusing on Sports Equality. I achieved my doctorate in 2022. In January 2020, I was appointed as a Learning Innovator responsible for supporting College staff to develop their digital skills and to help teachers, trainers and assessors to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment that embraces 21st century learning design and 21st Century Technologies. In terms of the latter, I have at the forefront of the College’s goal to embed VR, AR and AI into the educational experiences for our students.
